Dr. Ajaya speaks as part of the C3 Speaker Series. We will explore how an integration of spiritual practices, psychotherapy, receiving bodywork, and using psychedelics in an optimal setting can lead to lasting and profound changes in our personality structure and our sense of well being. The use of psychedelics in combination with these other practices enhances our capicity to shed ongoing suffering and a limited sense of ourselves. Psychedelic experiences alone can lead us to a revisioning of who and what we are, but these experiences may be temporary and not integrated into our everyday lives. When entheogens are used in the context of these other ways of self discovery, a catalytic or synergistic effect can be created freeing us from non-functional patterns and leading to greater self revelation.
